I used the photo editing that is on the iPhone 6. There are three options for the black and white and I used the noir black and white for most. I tried other apps such as ECP and Fotoeditor but the iPhone was the best for me.

My favorite picture is the last one at the bottom, of the tennis court. I really like how you can see the contrast between the light from the sun coming from the top corner and how it fades into the darker sky toward the left of the picture. I also like how the sun creates a shadow of the net on the tennis court.
ReplyDeleteYour best photo to me is the one that looks like you were coming up from the subway, looking at the sky. I like how it looks as if you can touch the sky as soon as you climb the stairs. I also like the contrast of the clouds with the sky because it looks as if the clouds are lighting up the right side of the stair case, while the left side of the stair case is on the darker side.
ReplyDeleteHi Minami! The photograph I like most from your post is definitely number twelve. I just love how she looks so happy and how her expression itself evokes mystery. It makes me wonder what happened that made her feel that way since I can only tell so much from a photograph. Another thing I love about the photo is the contrast between the buildings in the background and the sky. It really makes them stand out!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pictures is the tennis court. The photo has such interesting contrast and the shadow that casts from the netting adds a dramatic aspect to the photo.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the photo of the tennis court. I'm not sure if it's the contrast and shadows, or from where you shot from, but the photo has a touch of intensity to it which seems a perfect fit for a tennis court. Nice photo.
