So I have been trying to find some apps to help me slow down my shutter speed, but I have not had any luck. Even using a timer and leaving my phone on a steady surface, the two apps that I got just seem to distort my pictures very bad. Anyone find anything for the iPhone? I tried two free ones, Slow Shutter Camera + and Slow Shutter Camera Free. Maybe I just have to try and play with them more.
Meanwhile to edit my vintage photos I have been using PictureShow app in addition to my usual Lightroom. It has some nice settings for this effect and you can add noises to the photos too. I tried to do a double exposure one as well, I'm not sure if I went too far.
I have been shooting a lot on the country side because I live in the suburbs, it is intriguing and beautiful at this time of the year around here. I still feel like I have to get out of my comfort zone.

I must claim that this is not a picture of a cute dog, but a picture of the relationship between the critters and the yard

I really like picture number 5. I like the angle that you took the picture and how the tall grass seems to be moving in the wind. I also like that lighting from the left corner of the picture. The lighting gives it a vintage feel.
ReplyDeleteI like the self portrait 2.
ReplyDeleteI was very intrigued by the angle of the picture it was taken from. I like how i can see the dog looking up!
I like the different view than most pictures; it gives a different perspective on thing I normally woun't see.
Great picture!!!
I think I enjoy #5 the most because of how many summer memories it brings to me, especially with the cold setting in lately. I just look at this picture and can feel warmth of the sun and the heat of the day. It just gives all my senses flashbacks and I really enjoy that!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite photos of yours are your second self portrait and number six. I love SP2 because of the angle you took it at. Also, it reminds me of my friend Orion's instagram feed, which has a very warm/vintage tone just like your photo. I also love your photo for number 6. I love how the desaturation makes it look a little more eerie and old. The colors and edit also bring old the age of the brick as well.
ReplyDeleteI like 1 the most because you didnt focus on the dog, but the wooded area. I enjoying seeing the leaves, trees, the person on the swing and the overall natural look of the picture. I was looking at this picture for a very long time.
